Stop smoking and start trampoline exercise
10/03/2010Smokers around the country will be trying to kick the habit today (March 10th) and may want to take up trampoline exercise to provide a boost to their new healthier lifestyle.
No Smoking Day aims to encourage addicts across the UK to give up their cigarettes by highlighting the resources available to quit and the effect the habit has on the body.
The organisers claim that smoking causes people to build up weight around their waist and encourages the development of cellulite, fat which has built up under the skin.
For those who have experienced these problems because of smoking, trampoline exercise could be part of the solution.
Trampoline exercise is widely recognised as the most efficient form of exercise and is said to be over 60 per cent more effective than running. Benefits associated with the activity include improved balance, co ordination, muscle tone and weight loss.
Jumping on a trampoline also stimulates the lymphatic system, which helps rid the body of toxins.
Nancy Desjardins, a writer at www.healthlady.com and a registered nutritional consulting practitioner, believes the combination of cardio vascular exercise and improved lymphatic circulation can help reduce cellulite.
