'Relive childhood' by using trampolines
30/03/2010 Young adults who want to keep fit should look back at activities they found fun as a child such as bouncing on a trampoline.
According to student Chelsey Seidel, two things she enjoyed doing when she was young were jumping on her bed and using a trampoline and she now finds that the latter is still good for keeping fit.
"Jumping on trampolines releases endorphins just like other forms of exercise and is a great way to reminisce about being young again. So don't be embarrassed to jump up on a trampoline," she wrote for the Daily Gamecock, newspaper of the University of South Carolina.
Ms Seidel added that using a trampoline can also help diffuse a bad mood or relieve stress because of the chemicals it helps release in the body.
The Woman's Index blog recently explained that using a trampoline to get some exercise has a number of benefits for the body's cardiovascular system.
