British girls are 'trampoline queens' in Germany
20/10/2010 Two of Britain's trampoline elite have brought more success for their club, after competing in the last World Cup of the 2009/10 cycle in Salzgitter, Germany.
According to GetWokingham.co.uk, the young trampoline duo, Amanda Parker and Bryony Page, were looking to build upon their strong performance at the recent tournament in Portugal.
In the synchronised event, the pair earned a final place and went on to achieve a respectable seventh-place finish.
When alone on the trampoline, Ms Parker scored a personal best and was placed ninth in a large world-class field, making her the top UK female competitor.
Also participating was the girls' Edgbarrow team-mate Nicholas Joyce, who also earned a personal best to become the top male Brit in the event.
Meanwhile, the Hunts Post has reported that Godmanchester's Rotations Trampoline Club starred at last weekend's Eastern Grading competition held at Easton College in Norfolk.
Jemma Andrews, Poppy Millar and Ashlea Bridger all won gold in the female over-15s category of the competition.
