Brits looking for 26th straight trampoline victory over rivals
29/09/2009 Britain's gymnasts are looking to make it 26 victories in a row over old rivals Germany at an annual competition.
In Taunton this weekend, East Kilbride trampoline star Pamela Clark will be among those competing at the Great Britain versus Germany Championships.
The 13-year-old from St Leonards is hoping for a repeat of her personal success last year which saw her crowned Best Girl.
She told the news provider: "It's a great event and I'm really looking forward to going down there again."
The youngster added that the team was performing well, and, most importantly of all, with consistency.
Having just been selected to represent Britain at the World Age Group Championships in St Petersburg this November, the gymnast has the World Championship trampoline title in her sights.
Three other Members of the East Kilbride club, plus their coach Olivia Sorbie will be heading to Russia with Pamela.
The group will be raising money for their trip by performing in the East Kilbride Shopping Centre next weekend as it will cost £1,800 to send each girl to the event.
