Bust stress and lose weight on a trampoline

09/12/2009
Stress could be the cause behind people gaining weight despite not changing their normal routine, according to a report in the Daily Mail.

The newspaper reports that when you are stressed your metabolism slows down and more calories are stored as your body enters "survival mode".

Warning signs that you are feeling stressed include craving foods which release anti-stress chemicals in the brain, such are carbohydrates and chocolate.

Exercising increases the chemicals in your brain which make you feel happy and there are few better ways to bust stress and keep fit than bouncing on a trampoline.

Keeping a mini trampoline in the corner of your office and having a bounce at lunch time could be a great way to pick yourself up for an afternoon at work.

Some models have removable legs and are small enough to be stored away easily when not in use.

As well as helping you bust stress, jumping on a trampoline provides a great cardio vascular work out and improves balance and co ordination.
