Children using trampoline to raise cash
11/05/2010 Children in Ravenshead will be bouncing up and down on a trampoline to raise cash to buy new toys for their play school.
According to a report from Hemel Today, pupils at Berkhamsted Baptist Church Pre-school will be taking part in the fundraiser on Saturday May 15th.
Speaking to the news provider, Ally Walker, the pre-school's senior playleader, said: "The children are all really excited and have been practising hard on the trampoline. This annual event is our main fundraiser for the year and is a great family fun morning held here at the pre-school."
She added that the trampoline fundraiser will also provide an opportunity for parents and carers to see the pre-school and meet its staff.
As well as helping to raise cash, trampolining will also encourage the children taking part to get some exercise.
Earlier this month, Dr Linda Voss, coordinator of the EarlyBird Diabetes Study, said that it is essential that from an early age children learn to look after their health by exercising and eating right.
