Council reveals trampoline activity plans
22/07/2009 Jumping on a trampoline is one way that a local authority is helping children stay active during the summer holiday, according to a source.
North Lincolnshire Council is putting on a range of activities as part of the Energize scheme to keep the young ones busy through the long break, reports the Scunthorpe Telegraph.
Events will be put on throughout the warmer months at venues across the region with trampoline fun among the ways that children will be entertained.
A spokeswoman for the council told the newspaper that there will be "something for everyone".
She said: "The Energize activities are a great way for local youngsters to wind away the holidays while having fun and keeping active."
As well as jumping up and down on a trampoline, kids will be able to enjoy activities like football, art and archery.
Earlier this week, 24Dash reported that young residents of South Essex homes have recently enjoyed a 12-week trampoline course.
