DMT titles up for grabs at trampoline championships
15/07/2009 International commitments will prevent the reigning Senior Ladies Double-Mini Trampoline (DMT) champion from defending her title next week.
Adeva Bryan, of Aiborne Trampoline Club, is busy representing Great Britain at the World Games in Kaohsiung this July, along with Salto Gymnastic Club's Philip Dodson, who finished as runner-up last year in the Men's category.
A number of big names in the DMT world will still be competing at the 2009 British Trampoline and DMT Championships in Birmingham however, including reigning male title-holder Matthew Swaffer, of Jumpers Trampoline Club.
Airborn's Robyn Osborne, Stockport's Nicola Pugh and Jumpers' Jason Plowman will be among the favourites in their respective categories.
UK Trampoline Technical Committee chair Martin Laws has said he expects to see the largest audience ever for the 50th staging of the trampolining championships.
"This year is going to be a great opportunity for everyone to experience the terrific atmosphere with the UK's best talent being showcased," he added.
