Exercising outdoors at boot camp 'aided reporter's weight loss'
12/01/2010 A combination of exercising outdoors and a healthy diet helped a reporter lose a dress size in just one week, reports the Daily Mail.
Tamara Hardingham-Gill took up the challenge at a boot camp in Cornwall which focused on the importance of exercising outdoors within a healthy lifestyle.
Statistics released from moneysupermarket.com revealed that increasing numbers of Brits are ditching their gym memberships in favour of exercising outdoors, which proves to be more affordable and just as effective.
Ms Hardingham-Gill also took part in some indoor exercises, including "waist shrinking moves on the trampoline".
Exercising on a trampoline provides a number of health benefits as well as fighting the flab. Regular trampoline exercise improves co ordination and balance, as well as providing a detox by stimulating the lymphatic system, which helps rid the body of toxins.
Rather than the traditional tough army boot camp experience, the weeklong camp also recognised the importance of overall wellbeing with massages and treatments.
