Exercising outdoors recommended for workers
22/03/2010 Those in nine-to-five jobs can still keep fit by exercising outdoors during their lunch break, it has been said.
Ricky Wallace, who works for Liverpool Community Health and runs a fitness course for over-50s in the city, said that there will always be time to squeeze some time to exercise into the day, regardless of hectic lifestyles.
Speaking to the Liverpool Echo, the expert claimed that there is nothing more important than health and doing a small amount of exercise each day could vastly reduce the risk of developing heart problems.
"We all need to take at least 30 minutes of exercise, five days of the week to benefit our health, but the figures show that while 70 per cent of us don't do the recommended amount [while] 80 per cent of us think we do," he said.
Anik Giguere-Biollo from stroller-advisor.com recently said that as little as ten minutes per day of trampoline exercise is ideal for busy mums who have little time for a fitness regime.
