Families urged 'start exercising outdoors now'
22/12/2010 Rather than holding on for the new year, families keen to improve their lifestyle by exercising outdoors, perhaps with trampolines for the garden, should do so sooner rather than later, an expert has said.
Rebekah Fensome, life coach and hypnotherapist, said: "I think sometimes we use New Year as an excuse, but if you want to set some goals it certainly doesn't matter what time of year it is. You could start now – why should we wait for a particular time to do it?"
The expert went on to explain how the end-of-year period is always a popular time for people looking to start exercising outdoors.
With the average person set to consume more than 6,000 calories on Christmas Day alone, families may want to get some trampolines for the garden – in preparation for their new, healthier lifestyle.
Ms Fensome advised households planning to make life changes in January to pinpoint some practical and structured targets.
