Fast, efficient exercise in demand in 2010
29/12/2009 Whole body fitness and fast accessible exercises will be at the core of the UK's fitness regimes in 2010, reports the Halifax Evening Courier.
The newspaper has said that people will be looking towards improving their overall health in a way that fits in with their daily lifestyle.
Nick Hudson told the newspaper: "The key fitness trends for 2010 will be about fitness that is accessible, enjoyable and fast. These trends are not just about equipment but about the modern philosophy and attitude to wellbeing."
He added that "people are always looking for ways to workout and get results in a shorter space of time".
More efficient forms of exercise, which can be done for a shorter period of time but will produce the same results, were predicted to be popular in 2010.
Experts estimate that ten minutes spent jumping on a trampoline can be as effective as 30 minutes spent running. Weight loss sites recommend keeping a mini trampoline in your living room and bouncing around while the adverts are on as a great way of fitting exercise into your daily routine.
Jumping on a trampoline also helps to stimulate the lymphatic system, which aids the release of toxins from the body and provides a detox.
