Garden trampolines 'make exercise less work, more fun'
05/01/2011 Parents looking for ways to get their kids exercising outdoors may wish to consider trampolines for the garden, as one commentator has described them as a "terrific way to jump into fitness".
This is according to expert Carl, writing for the Good Going blog, who said garden trampolines are one of very few outdoor play activities that are as beneficial to health as they are fun.
Urging families in search of a bargain to buy trampolines for the garden online, the writer explained how both children and grown-ups can enjoy exercising outdoors with the right play equipment.
"A trampoline makes your workout slightly less work and much more fun. It's an effective, low-impact activity that gets your heart pumping. The trampoline is unquestionably a terrific way to jump into fitness," Carl added.
Last month, the Stamford Mercury reported on Toby Cunliffe, an 11-year-old boy from Brooke Priory School in Oakham, whose ambition to master trampoline gymnastics was helping his recovery from cancer.
