Injury-prone ten-year-old 'loves trampoline exercise'
13/07/2009 Trampolining is helping a brave ten-year-old girl enjoy exercise and rediscover her confidence at the same time, it has been reported.
According to the Daily Mirror, poor Caitlin Gault from Banff, Aberdeenshire, has broken her legs more than 40 times due to an underlying medical condition, making it difficult for her to enjoy outdoor activities.
She suffers from brittle bone disease and now has titanium rods in her legs to help her walk.
However, the newspaper reveals that little Caitlin is able to jump up and down on her trampoline without hurting herself.
Her mother Michelle, 29, commented: "I never expected to see her on a trampoline but she is determined to do what she wants.
"She gets really high, most of the time bouncing on her bum and knees because it is safer."
Last week, a blogger for Whatever Mighty claimed that garden trampolines are becoming increasingly popular as fitness and recreation accessories for people of all ages.
