Is bouncing on a trampoline the best exercise for you?
29/03/2010 When embarking on a new fitness regime it is important to choose an exercise form that you will enjoy, otherwise it will be harder to keep it up.
According to the Scottish Herald, if exercise bores you it is easy to get disheartened, meaning you should take some time to think about what sports you want to take up.
Speaking to the newspaper, Bryan Marshall, a fitness leader at Green's gym, Glasgow, said that people should consider how much time each week they want to devote to exercise and vary the types of fitness activities they do.
For example, if people want to devote one hour a week to exercise they can do three different forms of exercise in 20 minute bouts across the week.
It is also important to consider what you want to achieve through your exercise regime, whether it be weight loss, toned muscles or just general health benefits.
One way to inject some fun into an exercise regime is by using a mini trampoline. You can use the equipment in the comfort of your own home and bounce along to your favourite music or even in front of the TV.
