Mini trampolines 'help people get toned in six weeks'
06/10/2009 Anyone seeking a cheap way to get toned in the comfort of their own home should invest in a mini trampoline, according to one fitness expert.
Nutritionist and exercise enthusiast Yinka Thomas recently told the Daily Mail that spending 20 minutes on a rebounder trampoline will help make a body firmer in just six weeks due to the effects of increased gravitational force at the bottom of the bounce.
Ms Thomas advised that anyone setting themselves a trampoline workout regime should set clear goals and devise a schedule that they know they can stick to.
She also suggested wearing comfortable clothing and suitable footwear while bouncing and maintaining rhythmical breathing throughout.
Finally, she stressed the importance of a thorough cool down which involves stretching leg and torso muscles after completing a mini trampoline workout.
The Online Personal Training blog recently stated that exercising with a trampoline is lots of fun which can encourage people to stick with their fitness regimes for longer.
