New trampoline sports centre opens
02/09/2009 A new sports centre has opened in the US, which features wall-to-wall trampolines.
The concept behind Sky High Sports is basically a warehouse full of trampolines with the bouncing equipment even on the walls.
Sky High Sports has divided up the space in Bellvue, Seattle into several giant areas of trampolines, including one dedicated to youngsters under seven years old, and one for birthdays, and one for dodgeball games.
The centre welcomes people of all ages as long as they can bounce up and down, and will soon feature a foam pit next to the trampolines for jumping into.
Munchkin Mondays are for younger kids at the centre and they receive a discounted rate, and there are also aerobics class.
Safety is of paramount importance and the centre has built with that in mind. It includes padding on all trampoline edges with all frames and springs covered by two-inch thick safety pads, with bouncy walls so no one can fall off the side.
