Nick Clegg 'uses kid's trampoline to keep fit'
15/04/2010 Liberal Democrat leader Nick Clegg enjoys jumping on a trampoline with his children to keep fit, it has been revealed.
The BBC reports that Mr Clegg doesn't take part in a strict exercise regime, but instead plays with his kids in the garden when he gets time.
Gordon Brown and David Cameron were both said to be fans of exercising outdoors, with Mr Brown enjoying running and Mr Cameron regularly cycling around London.
Mike Shallcross, deputy editor of Men's Health magazine, told the news provider that the stress-removing qualities of exercise "keep people sane".
"If you look at people at the top of their game in all walks of life, the overweight, unhealthy type is a bit of a dying breed," he added.
As for political figures, Barack Obama and George Bush, despite their different viewpoints, were both said to be fans of jogging.
Last week, a new study was released by researchers from the Southern Methodist University in Dallas which suggested exercising outdoors could be a 'magic drug' for treating depression.
