Outdoor play ideas: Trampolines 'perfect for half term'
21/10/2010 Trampolines are set to feature in a range of courses at Ealing Council's sports and leisure centres this half term, which may encourage parents to treat their kids so that they too can feel the benefits of outdoor play.
According to EalingToday.co.uk, children aged between four and 14 years are invited to take part in a range of outdoor play activities designed to keep them entertained and active during the school holidays.
Councillor Kamaljit Dhindsa, cabinet member for Customer and Community Services, said that Ealing's sports centres had a "fantastic week" of exercising outdoors planned for children in the area.
"This is a great opportunity for them to learn new skills and stay fit and active," he added.
Mini tennis, football and trampoline coaching sessions are just some of the outdoor play activities on offer.
This week, councillors in Ealing have also unveiled plans to spend £500,000 on improved play equipment to get more children exercising outdoors.
