Over-50s 'may benefit from trampoline-style exercise'
02/02/2010 Women over 50 could benefit from exercise like that performed on a mini trampoline, according to a report from the Philippine Star.
In an article about how to live a healthy life at the age of 56, Gina Lopez said that she has recently started exercising on a Cellexerciser, which is similar to a mini trampoline.
According to Ms Lopez, she quickly moved up from the recommended one minute of exercise and is now doing ten or fifteen minutes per day.
"I already have a lot of energy but this boosted my energy level up even further. I also sleep better... In short I am experiencing a wonderful sense of well-being," she explained.
Ms Lopez added that the effects of the exercise could be felt after the first session.
Jumping on trampoline can improve your natural sense of wellbeing as it stimulates the body's lymphatic system. A recent report on NorthJersey.com said that this will help boost the transfer of nutrients around cells.
