Playing on trampoline with kids can aid weight loss
01/09/2010 Fitting in "incidental" exercise like jumping on the trampoline with your kids is a great way to help you lose weight, one blog has suggested.
Writing for Helium, Katarzyna Radzka suggested that people often find they can do short bursts of exercise without really trying by incorporating it into their daily routine.
"Incidental exercise can add to your calorie deficit without even trying. Walk to the shop or to work. Try the hula hoop or trampoline with the kids," she suggested.
A number of celebrities have revealed that they enjoy playing on the trampoline with their children.
Angelina Jolie said that her kids are unimpressed when she manages to do somersaults and other trampoline tricks and Tom Cruise told the German magazine Bild that he plays on the trampoline with his daughter Suri.
Ms Radzka also recommended that people get a support mechanism around them when they're trying to lose weight, as this will make it easier to reach their goals.
"Your family will be able to help you stop binging or snacking on inappropriate foods," she added.
