Plymouth high flyers prove victorious at trampoline event
18/02/2010 A Plymouth-based trampoline club recently proved successful at the British Gymnastics South West Trampoline Grading Competition at Taunton, with 12 members qualifying to move up a level.
According to a report from This is Plymouth, two other members, Tom Bowen and Tom Holman, moved from regional to national level.
The team also scooped a number of medals, with Tom Holman, Alex Hancock, Katie Beer and Katrina Addelsee all coming top in their age groups and a team made up of Abbiy Donoghue, Katie Lewis and Laura Grubb winning the Under 15 regional team event.
Tom Bowen, Iona Weaving, Rachel Tooze and Lucy Barclay all came second in their trampoline events, while Charlotte Donoghue came third.
Get Wokingham recently reported that the Edgbarrow Trampoline Club saw many of its members earning national places at a recent event in Gloucester.
Charlotte Thomas took gold in the under-17 girls event and Georgie Webb came third in the under-19 event, despite being just 15.
