Start your health kick early this Christmas with a trampoline
14/12/2009 "A break from the usual routine can provide the ideal opportunity to begin or maintain physical activity", according to one fitness consultant.
In an article in the Guardian, Dean Hodgkin explained that there was no reason people could not use their Christmas break to kick start a health routine, rather than wait until the new year.
Mr Hodgkin added: "If you're prepared to work hard, you can fit a super workout into just a 30-minute window."
Trampolines are the ideal piece of exercise equipment for those who do not have much time on their hands, but want a good workout.
Experts believe that ten minutes spent on a trampoline provides the same benefits as 30 minutes spent running. As well as providing a cardio vascular workout and improving overall fitness, they provide a number of benefits which other forms of exercise do not.
People who regularly use a trampoline experience improved balance and co ordination.
