Trainers recommend trampolines for fitness
28/07/2009 Trainers and fitness fanatics have been outlining the benefits of using trampolines for exercise.
According to the blog fitnesstipsforlife.com, trainers are saying that by using a trampoline, it protects your joints, as well as improving coordination and keeping you fit.
The blog states: "Not only can you fit it around your physical abilities and needs, trampolines are flexible in terms of time and space."
Trampolines can be used for exercise in the garden, or even in the home, via a mini-trampoline.
Trampolines can give both mental and physical health benefits to children and adults, and even Nasa extols the health benefits of using rebounders and trains its astronauts in quick, efficient regimes that lend a sense of weightlessness that no other exercise offers.
Nasa claims that a ten-minute trampoline session gives the same benefits as a 30-minute jog.
Work psychology and stress relief expert John Furnem recently told familyrapp.com that the mere task of getting the hang of a trampoline is a challenge and it can take some time.
He said: "Once you get the trampoline basics in your blood, you will be addicted to it, and to the constant improvement in your workout."
