Trampoline 'a great way to get healthy'
22/09/2009 Using a trampoline as part of an exercise routine means people are less likely to get bored and lose interest in working out, claims one blogger.
According to onlinepersonaltrainingblog.com, adults are starting to realise what children have known for some time trampolines are great fun and a great way to stay fit.
The blogger claims that boredom accounts for the majority of reasons why people quit doing exercise.
However, the author writes: "With a trampoline there is less chance of that happening because they are so much fun."
They added that losing weight while strengthening muscles provided an extra incentive to stick with it.
A trampoline workout allows the heart to pump faster and organs become stronger, according to the blogger.
Those looking to lose weight will do so because metabolism increases as does blood flow, which in turn improves endurance and rids the body of harmful toxins, the blogger added.
Using a mini trampolines or 'rebounding', according to NASA, is "the most efficient and effective form of exercise ever devised".
