Participants in powerplining classes switch between the two exercises, which are both known to be extremely effective calorie burners, the Sun reports.
In a 20 minute class it's possible to burn up to 300 calories, while receiving all of the other benefits from trampoline exercise which include increased stimulation of the lymphatic system and increased balance and coordination.
Nicki Waterman, celebrity fitness expert, told the news provider: "This will help strengthen muscles quickly, encouraging a higher metabolism, helping you burn more calories."
The exercise is also ideal for those who lead hectic lifestyles and find they have little time to exercise because, according to Ms Waterman, "it's also easy to fit into busy days".
