Trampoline brings exercise fun to school pupils
02/02/2011 School pupils in Buckinghamshire are jumping for joy, after the unveiling of a brand new trampoline, which promises to bring the benefits of outdoor play as well as plenty of fun.
According to the Buckinghamshire Free Press, Penn School, in Church Road, Penn, received outdoor play equipment worth more than £8,000 from High Wycombe charity Kids in Sport.
Roger Budd, chairman of the group, told the newspaper that the youngsters' faces were "filled with surprise and anticipation" as the trampoline was revealed.
He said that his charity was "delighted" to help the school, which caters for children with complex needs such as hearing, speech problems and autism, to enjoy the benefits of outdoor play and exercising outdoors.
Earlier this week, 11-year-old TV actress Lottie Bell, who appears alongside Outnumbered star Daniel Roche in the BBC remake of Just William, told the Henley Standard that trampolines were her favourite outdoor game.
