Trampoline club celebrates national final success
13/08/2009 The Evolution trampoline club is jumping for joy after 20 squad members earned 31 places in the finals.
One extra special champion, ten-year-old Katie Tamin, took home the title as national disabilities champion, reports the Wiltshire and Chippenham Times.
Katie, who is profoundly deaf, qualified to compete by winning all the events that she competed in this year and went on to perform spectacularly at the finals, taking victory by quite a margin.
Georgia Clements was another to make the club beam with pride after the novice double mini trampoline star claimed the National C Junior girls DMT champion crown after only a year of practice at the event.
The Senior girls National C team were the next to clinch the gold and National Champion title with Nic Zeal, Lauren Gale, Caitlin Skeates and Hannah Wickens
Senior FIG B ladies team also outperformed themselves with great performances from Izzie Earl Higgs, Becca Tamin and Pip Higgs to take the silver medal.
