Trampoline club looks for practice space
10/05/2010 A group of young trampoline enthusiasts is appealing for help to find a new space to practice in.
React Trampoline Club is looking for somewhere to hold their weekend and evening training sessions, as no local schools or sports facilities can provide the space, the Hereford Times reports.
The club currently meets on a Sunday evening at Whitecross High School.
Richard Crane, founder and head coach of the group, told the news provider that React is also looking for help from sponsors.
"We are desperate to purchase our own trampoline and safety equipment so that we can provide the best possible facilities for our members, some of whom have the potential to gain representation in national competitions," he explained.
Mr Crane added that the club is open to all youngsters, no matter their level of ability.
Graeme Hick, the former England cricketer, said recently that spending time taking part in sports allows children to appreciate important "core values".
He stressed the importance of coaches and role models within a child's development.
