Trampoline club open day in Canterbury
26/11/2009 Trampoline lovers will get to try their hand at some new tricks in Canterbury this weekend, reports Your Canterbury.
The Aire Trampoline Club are holding open days this Saturday and Sunday at their new facilities in the city and all are welcome to go down and have a jump around.
People venturing down there between the hours of 10:00 GMT and 16:00 GMT will be able to use the six Olympic sized trampolines and, if they enjoy themselves, join the club.
The Lord Mayor of Canterbury will also be there to officially open the new venue at 11:00 GMT. Previously the club was located in Faversham but moved to their current location in September, the website reports.
As well as beginners being able to try their hand at trampolining there will also be displays from those who have a bit more experience.
Generally rectangular trampolines are used for sport and round trampolines are used for recreation. This is because the springs on a rectangular trampoline work at different rates and provide a more powerful bounce.
