Trampoline club performs well at competition
26/05/2010 Trampoline club the Fenland Flyers put in a strong performance across a number of age groups at a local competition.
The club, which is based at Marshland High School, sent 29 of its members to compete in the event held by Dragons Trampoline Club at Easton High School, the Fenland Citizen reports.
Overall the members of the team managed to collect 18 trophies, despite the event being the six participants' first ever competition. The club is open to young trampoline enthusiasts of all ages and abilities.
A number of other trampoline enthusiasts were using the competition to prepare for regional championships next month.
The news provider said that nearly all children finished in the top ten for their age group.
Earlier this year, the Fenland Flyers held their second annual invitational, which attracted 160 competitors, the Wisbeach Standard reported.
Six different clubs attended the event, with the Fenland Flyers managing to take 22 top three places and ten team medals.
