Trampoline club takes regional spoils
04/11/2009 Edgebarrow Trampoline Club is celebrating its recent successes at the last regional trampoline competition of the season.
A recent event on the Isle of Wight saw the club members return home with an individual medal tally of ten gold medals, seven silver medals and three bronze, reports Get Wokingham.
The medal haul saw Harry Minter, in his first competition, jumping with great confidence to win gold in the grade G under-11 male section.
Successes came thick and fast after that with Rebecca Bough taking the under-17 female section of the same G grade.
Amy Hatchard and Lara Kalinka both moved up a grade after they both took bronze medals in the over-17 and under-13 sections respectively.
The club celebrated further successes in the grade F under-13 category with Aoife Acton and Adam Lever both jumping out of skin to win the gold medals with Emma Chiles close behind Aoife to take the silver.
At the same event, Basingstoke Gym trampoline squad also won a host of medals including a gold for Travis Clayton in the grade F level, reported the Basingstoke Gazette.
