Trampoline club wins double award
16/10/2009 Kingston Trampoline Club has achieved an award double after both its male and female teams were named London regional champions.
The group achieved the accolades at a recent regional graded event which was held alongside the London Closed Championships, reports the Croydon Guardian.
Medal winners for the club included Matt Dries who came top in the individual category and Sophie Clift who took silver.
Under-nines novice Charlotte Ramsdale came third in her event while the under-11 Grade G event saw Harriet Cronin and Kira Walker place first and third respectively.
A number of the club's members qualified to move up a grade.
Another trampoline club hitting the headlines recently is Edgbarrow Trampoline Club when member Sophie Lewis, 15, was awarded gold medal at the recent Friendship Cup in the Czech Republic, reports Get Wokingham.
The youngster proved victorious over 39 other contestants from 14 nations.
