Trampoline entertains kids at McDonald's
20/08/2009 Kids will be able to bounce around and work off their Happy Meals after a McDonalds restaurant announced it is putting a trampoline and a play area outside its premises.
The McDonald's restaurant in Quispamsis, Canada, is adding a play area and should reopen on Monday, says the office manager of the Quispamsis and Saint John restaurants.
Mary Snider said the restaurant was supposed to reopen earlier this month but renovation problems caused a delay.
She said the play area, called PlayPlace Park, will have such activities as a platform climb, rock-climbing panels, an individual trampoline and slides.
The play space will also be wheelchair accessible and soundproofed so any noise will not bother customers in other areas of the restaurant.
According to Vntinh.com, trampolines are a great way for kids and adults to stay fit and have fun at the same time.
"Bouncing on one of these pieces of equipment burns more calories and works your body more effectively than many people realise," it added.
