Trampoline enthusiasts earn places in international competitions
04/08/2009 Trampoline enthusiasts from Birkenhead have been chosen to represent England in two international competitions in the coming months.
Two members of Birkenhead Trampoline Club, Hanna Moses and Emily Steen, are heading to Belgium later this month for an International Synchro event, reports the Wirral Globe.
Meanwhile Hanna and fellow competitor Campbell Clayton will be Portugal-bound in September to compete in a double mini trampoline event.
Each of the competitors earned their place in these upcoming events by qualifying in a national final held at Birmingham last month.
According to reports, 17-year-old Hanna won the figure A double mini trampoline category and became senior ladies national champion.
Along with Emily she gained third position in figure B senior ladies synchronised trampoline.
Last month, the Bolton News reported that 14-year-old Alex Openshaw of Harwood claimed bronze in his age group at the British Championships in Birmingham.
