Trampoline exercise 'can kick start a new fitness regime'
28/01/2010 People looking to kick start a new exercise regime should start by investing in a mini trampoline, according to one diet expert.
Writing for Doido Lane Recommends, Sue Heintze, author of the Drop a Dress Size Diet, said that the ease of using a trampoline within the comfort of your own home means that you can get fit quickly without realising it.
She said: "I often find that when someone is looking for quick ways to get fit they are disillusioned if they dont start seeing results...[but] so as long as you are actually making the effort and doing something you are actually getting fit."
Ms Heintze added that those who are serious about losing weight and becoming healthier should start their exercise routine straight away rather than putting it off.
A recent study by fatfreefitness.co.uk found that over two-thirds of women who use diet pills to lose weight did so because they did not have the time to exercise. However, 80 per cent of these said that they would not take weight-loss tablets again because of the side effects experienced.
