Trampoline exercise 'could benefit vegan lifestyle'
06/05/2010 People switching to a vegan lifestyle may want to consider combining it with trampoline exercise, according to one blog.
Healthy Vegan Foods said there are many advantages to switching to a diet free from animal products, however people need to ensure that they are staying healthy.
"You should exercise daily, at least a moderate form of any physical activity for at least 30 minutes to one hour every day," the blog explained.
Jumping on a trampoline was named as one of the activities which can be undertaken to meet this exercise target.
The blog suggested that those considering a vegan lifestyle might be best making the changes in small steps rather than all at once.
Even for those who are not thinking of becoming a vegan, exercising outdoors has many benefits.
Richard Colwill, spokesperson for mental health organisation SANE, explained earlier this week that exercising outdoors for even a small amount of time can have a positive effect on a person's mood.
He said that this doesn't mean that people have to head out into the countryside, as a few minutes spent in the garden is enough to feel the effects.
