Trampoline fans encouraged to snap up Olympic tickets
25/03/2010 Residents of London may be able to witness athletes tackle the trampoline if they are quick to pick up a ticket for the Olympic Games 2012, which is being hosted in the city.
The London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) is urging residents of Greenwich, where various events are to be hosted, to be the first to pick up tickets when they go on sale next year.
According to News Hopper, the Woolwich's Royal Artillery Barracks, the O2 Arena and various temporary structures will host trampoline events, along with gymnastics and basketball during the games.
LOCOG announced that there will be eight million places available to see the events at the Olympics, while a further 0.5 million tickets will go on sale for the Paralypic Games.
The newspaper also recently reported that Bexley trampoline club manager Keith Sleafer, one of the original members of the team, will be taking the reins again when the athletes enter the London Youth Games.
