Trampoline is young TV star's favourite outdoor play
01/02/2011 Parents may be encouraged to treat their children with outdoor play activities, such as trampolines for the garden, after it was revealed that one of British TV's fastest-rising stars is partial to a backyard bounce.
In an interview with the Henley Standard, local talent Lottie Bell, the 11-year-old actress who plays Dorinda Lane in the BBC remake of Just William, discussed her favourite outdoor play games, with the trampoline listed among her favourites.
"We have a rope swing in our garden that I go climbing on and we have a trampoline and I try to swing the highest on the hammock," she told the Oxfordshire newspaper.
The new series, a remake of Richmal Crompton's classic children's stories, has been written by Simon Nye and stars 11-year-old Outnumbered star Daniel Roche as the lead character William Brown.
Last month, trampoline-1.com urged parents planning to buy trampolines for the garden to also invest in safety enclosures.
