Trampoline the star attraction at US fair
08/09/2009 A bungee trampoline drew in the crowds at Hometown Fair in the Boulder Creek, in the US.
Thousands of local revellers flocked to the event, which marks the end of summer in Boulder, a season which begins with the Boulder Creek Festival, reported the Daily Camera.
Organisers estimate the fair draws about 75,000 people over the three-day weekend, about one-fifth the number who attend the Boulder Creek Festival.
One attendee absolutely adored her time on the bungee trampoline.
Becky Beard bounced off the trampoline again and again, soaring into the air, higher than the poles holding her bungee cord.
"You feel like a leaf, falling in the wind," she told the news provider after her turn on the bungee-trampoline was over.
She said that she had never been that high in her life and her legs had felt like jelly.
"And if you're facing the mountains, you get quite a nice view," sister Georgina added.
Fitness expert Aohra Feliciano told Inquirer.net last week that jumping and bouncing on the trampoline makes the legs more powerful so that they act as a complementary pump for invigorating the heart.
