Trampolines 'are great for adults and kids'

05/02/2010
Trampolines offer a great opportunity for adults and children to socialise and take part in physical exercise, according to North American Challenge.

The blog, which is dedicated to the outdoors, said that regularly using a trampoline helps people feel "more alert, fitter and healthier".

"Standard and regular use of trampolines and rebounders increases muscle strength and improves your fitness by elevating your pulse rate and ensuring that oxygen is pumped around your body more efficiently," the site explained.

However, parents were reminded to be aware of the safety hazards which exist when jumping on a trampoline and to take the necessary precautions to avoid injury.

As well of the benefits which are provided by any form of aerobic exercise, using a trampoline for exercise has additional advantages. Regularly jumping up and down helps improve balance and co ordination and stimulates the lymphatic system, which helps rid your body of toxins and ensure the transfer of nutrients.
