Trampolines 'great for exercise and fresh air'
22/03/2010 Jumping on a trampoline has been described as a good way for people to keep fit while also enjoying the outdoors as the summer moves closer.
According to the Community Interests blog, many people spend money on expensive gym memberships when it is easy to get enough exercise by investing in a trampoline to remain in shape.
"Doing 20 minutes on the garden trampoline provide you with a good cardiovascular workout. At the end of a program you may have burned off a large amount of energy, you'll be sweating and most of all you'd probably have had [a good time]," the site explained.
It added that it is important to enjoy the activity you are doing in order to want to continue doing it in the future and that using a trampoline for exercise outdoors is loved by a wide range of people.
Nurse practitioner Paulette Carpenter, who gave a talk entitled Aging with Grace and Vigour at a ladies' meeting in Colorado, US, recently, said that women wanting to look good when they are older should take up the trampoline.
