Trampolines and fun 'go hand-in-hand'
20/10/2009 Trampolines and fun go hand-in-hand, meaning using the equipment can make exercise a lot more enjoyable, one commentator has stated.
Writing for the Cholesterol Facts blog, one keen exerciser said that while some exercise regimes can be tedious, using a mini trampoline helps inject some excitement into getting fit, as well as offering an intense workout.
They suggested undertaking 'rebounder' exercises, which are gentle on the joints and muscles.
"Like all exercise, rebounder routines have to start slowly, with more complex movements being added as you improve. Warm ups and cool downs are also important and gentle bouncing and walking movements on the trampoline will accomplish this," the commentator added.
Anyone looking to inject some fun into their exercise routines could try out some trampoline tricks.
The Fitness Equipment blog recently recommended starting with a simple 'landing on your back' move which involves standing motionless on the trampoline with arms by the body and then falling backwards gently.
