UK team for trampoline world championships announced
30/07/2009 With the Senior individual Trampoline World Championships in St Petersburg just around the corner, hopefuls have been told whether or not they have made the cut.
Following the first selection trial for the senior championships, British Gymnastics, the sport's governing body, has decided who will be getting on the flight to Russia.
In the men's individual event, James Higgins, Steven Walsh and Nicholas Joyce will be representing Great Britain, while in the women's individual event, Kat Driscoll, Amanda Parker and Jaime Moore will be competing for a medal.
The final team places, reserves and coach selections will be announced following the second trial on Sunday September 20th.
A Pre Worlds Training Camp will take place the week commencing October 26th.
This will be the 26th Trampoline World Championships. The first was held in London in 1964
