Use a trampoline to aid weight loss

23/11/2009
Trampolines are an ideal piece of exercise equipment for those hoping to lose a few pounds, according to the writer of a weight loss blog.

Lose-weightblog.com recommends that while people looking to lose weight normally opt for traditional machines, such as treadmills and exercise bikes, a trampoline is well worth looking into.

It advises that even if your garden isn't large enough to support a full 8ft of 16ft trampoline, a mini trampoline offers a "fun, exciting and affordable" alternative.

Mini trampolines can be as small as 48 inches in diameter and some models have removable legs, which make them ideal for people living in apartments without much space. They can be stored away much more discreetly than other larger forms of exercise equipment.

However despite their size they are still strong and effective, some taking up to 20 stone in weight.

It is estimated that ten minutes on a trampoline provides the same benefits as half an hour of running. Plus bouncing around in the comfort of your own living room is a much more comfortable experience than running outside on a dark, cold winter night.
