Using a trampoline at home 'a cheap way to exercise'
12/10/2009 Doing exercise at home rather than at the gym is one way people can save themselves some cash, it has been claimed.
The Fiscal Fizzle blog states that rather than splashing out on a pricey gym membership each month, people can set aside some time in the evenings and at weekends to get fit in their living room or garden.
It advises parents to make use of their children's trampolines as regularly bouncing on one can be a great way to exercise and is "the quickest way to get your heart rate and breathing going".
The blog adds that while there is obviously an initial cost of equipment such as trampolines, in the long run it can save people a significant chunk of cash.
Nutritionist and exercise enthusiast Yinka Thomas recently told the Daily Mail that spending 20 minutes on a rebounder trampoline will help make people's bodies firmer in just six weeks.
