Weight-loss mum enjoys jumping on trampoline with kids
01/10/2010 A mum from Dunfermline is finally able to enjoy jumping on a trampoline with her children after losing six stone.
Jackie Ferguson used to be 16.5 stone and was unable to walk to the end of the street before she joined a Slimming World group, the Dunfermaline Press reports.
She managed to slim down from a size 20 or 22 to a size ten, and now weighs 10st 2lb. The weight loss means that she is more active and can spend more time playing with kids.
"I've been doing a bit of jogging and jumping on the kids' trampoline – you can't get me off it!
"I wouldn't have had the energy to do that at all before and I'd have been frightened to break it," Jackie told the news provider.
Jumping on a trampoline is also a great way to lose weight and is the secret behind more than one celebrity figure.
Supermodel Heidi Klum even used her love of trampolines as the inspiration for her new fitness collection, which has been launched by New Balance.
