Youngsters in 'fine form' at trampoline event
22/07/2009 A group of youngsters proved that they are top of the class when it comes to trampoline jumps and tricks at a recent competition.
The Abby High Flyers took part in an event at St Guthlac's School in Crowland, reports Spalding Today.
According to the newspaper, several members of the group were in "fine form in the all-club affair".
The youngsters polish up their trampoline jumps twice a week in St Guthlac and are coached by Kirsty Ringsell.
According to the publication the group has been preparing for the event over the last few months and "really enjoyed themselves" at the competition, which saw Olivia Green walk away with the top prize.
In other news, the British Trampoline Championships took place at the National Indoor Arena in Birmingham over the weekend.
Before the action got underway, Martin Lewis, trampoline technical committee chair, commented that he expected the event to feature its biggest ever entry and audience.
